Falcon Heavy

SpaceX

Three Falcon 9 cores strapped together — the most powerful operational rocket until Starship.

Falcon Heavy combines three Falcon 9 first-stage boosters to deliver heavy payloads to GTO, the Moon, and beyond. Its 2018 maiden flight famously launched Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster on a heliocentric orbit. Since then it has lofted national-security payloads, the Psyche asteroid mission, and the Europa Clipper.

Fun facts
Its first flight launched Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster into a heliocentric orbit toward Mars.
Falcon Heavy has three booster cores that land simultaneously — a spectacle visible hundreds of kilometres away.
Despite 27 Merlin engines, the two side boosters landed synchronously within ~9 m of each other.
